THE POSITION

The Supports Supervisor oversees and coordinates children's support services provided to participants ensuring quality and safety. The Supports Supervisor provides direct services for participants as needed and trains and supervises community based supports/BI para employees. The Supports Supervisor provides caseload oversight, with duties including acting as the main contact for the family, scheduling, and provide training and supervision for staff

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Maintains DDA compliance and Adheres to State and Federal Guidelines
  • Acts as primary contact and communicates effectively with participants, families, school district staff, and other professionals
  • Attends and participates in meetings when requested 
  • Ensures that individuals receiving services are treated with dignity and respect
  • Provide direct 1:1 services to a child or adolescent with a developmental disability in accordance with the plan for treatment
  • Record accurate data collection and complete daily documentation of each session
  • Collaborate and coordinate services with the treatment team members in various settings
  • Participate in staff meetings & supervision as assigned
  • Complete & review assessments and documentation per the requirements of the various programs and locations serviced
  • Ensures staff documentation is accurate, compliant, and timely for services rendered
  • Maintains accurate files for each participant on caseload
  • Provide & facilitate onsite supervision of staff and schedules formal observations to be completed for staff 

Qualifications

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years old 
  • Ability to communicate effectively through verbal and written communications
  • Strong independent problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and interdependently
  • Previous supervision experience (preferred)
  • Meets provider qualifications of Intervention Specialist or Professional (preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite and other software platforms
  • Must provide or obtain CPR/First Aid Certification (provided by RISE)
  • Must provide or obtain MANDT and/or other de-escalation certification training (provided by RISE)
  • Have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license and car insurance
  • Must be able to pass a background check
