The Behavioral Therapist/Registered Behavior Technician at ABA Everyday will provide one on one services based upon the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to clients with developmental disabilities and Autism in the home and center, community, and school settings. The Behavioral Therapist/RBT is responsible for implementing behavior intervention plans and treatment plan goals designed and supervised by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

The Behavior Therapist/RBT will collect data on programs, assist with caregiver skills training, and assist the supervising Behavior Analyst with clinical assessments as needed.


  • Must be 18 years or older
  • High School Diploma, minimum
  • Documentation of 40 hour RBT Training
  • Documentation of RBT Competency Agreement
  • Must obtain and maintain a current CPR/First Aid certificate 
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of valid car insurance, and reliable transportation
  • Must be able to pass State and Federal Background check
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and creative
  • Experience working in home setting, and community setting
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time
  • Ability to interpret and implement clinical protocols


  • Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings utilizing a combination of discrete trial training and natural environment training arrangements in areas including communication, social skills, play skills, and adaptive skills.
  • Follow the prescribed treatment plan and behavior reduction protocols created by the BCBA.
  • Follow protocols and record data as written in the behavioral skill acquisition plan and behavior reduction plan designed by the BCBA.
  • Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
  • Perform specific computer and electronic device functions for data collection.
  • Assist with caregiver training in line with client’s individualized treatment and behavior reduction plan.
  • Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed by the BCBA.
  • Utilize safe & appropriate handling procedures per RISE Services, Inc. policy when working with clients.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA Laws.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment.
  • Maintain daily session notes.
  • Maintain a professional appearance with regard to clothing, grooming, hair, and make-up per ABA Everyday policy.
  • Collaborate and maintain effective communication with the treatment team including client, parents and caregivers, outside professionals, BCBA, and co-workers.
  • Accept construction feedback and be willing to develop knowledge and skills sets accordingly.
  • Maintain and acquire technical knowledge by attending required staff training.
  • Assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time.
