Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Project Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives that support operational excellence, technology modernization, and strategic growth. This role will manage the planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects across multiple departments, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, timelines, and budgets.
The ideal candidate combines strong project management discipline with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project management for technology and operational initiatives from initiation through delivery.
- Develop detailed project plans including scope, milestones, timelines, resources, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, operations, finance, HR, and external vendors.
- Track project progress and proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Facilitate project meetings, status updates, and executive reporting.
- Ensure projects remain aligned with strategic priorities, budgets, and timelines.
- Manage change requests and scope adjustments while maintaining project objectives.
- Support implementation and adoption of project management standards, tools, and best practices.
- Collaborate with business leaders to translate operational needs into actionable project plans.
- Monitor project outcomes and ensure successful transition to operational teams.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, information technology, business administration, healthcare, human services, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1-3 years of experience leading or supporting cross functional projects in a professional environment.
Certifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Candidates actively pursuing PMP may be considered if certification is obtained within an agreed upon timeframe.
Skills & Competencies
- Working knowledge of project management methodologies (PMI, Agile, or hybrid models).
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to interface at all organizational levels.
- Proficiency with project management and productivity tools such as Microsoft Project, Monday.com, Jira, and Microsoft Teams.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple assignments, and interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency using required computer software and office systems.
- Visual, organizational, and analytical abilities necessary to oversee project tasks and documentation.
- Frequent use of office, computer, telecommunications, and multimedia equipment, requires regular use of hands, arms, eyes, and ability to bend, kneel, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and respond with flexibility to changing priorities.
EQUIPMENT NORMALLY USED
Computers, printers, telephones, copy machines, fax machines, mail machines, and other standard office equipment.
