RISE, Inc., a 30+ year old growth oriented non-profit multi state organization with annual revenues of $100MM+ serving the developmentally disabled community, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Manager to work in its Mesa, AZ corporate office which is conveniently located at Greenfield Rd. & US 60. The candidate will provide organized and detail oriented professional services for high volume receivable and collection efforts within the Finance Division.  MBA preferred.  Salary commensurate with experience.

 

  • ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Organize the processing of multi-state receivables and collections related to medical insurance and Medicaid billings.
  • Ensure accurate processing of data by monitoring compliance with all state, federal, and accounting guidelines.
  • Ensure EDI billing is processed correctly and work with internal and external departments to implement EDI billing for other programs as needed.
  • Facilitate and prepare month end close processes.
  • Provide weekly and monthly revenue reports.
  • Identify key performance indicators for AR and provide metrics to measure the success of the department.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and training; provide timely feedback to the AR team, as well as other departments, and managers.
  • Review and analyze processes and issues; assist team in developing proactive processes for effective and efficient resolution.
  • Hire and train new employees; provide training to employees on new program start-ups.
  • Engage in special projects related to software migration and technology adoption for billing department.
  • Effectively build relationships with contract representatives to facilitate billing issue resolution. * Facilitate effective communication between the AR department, internal departments, and external customers.
  • Work closely with executive management and managers to achieve company’s strategic objectives.
  • Interface with auditors and coordinate preparation, resources, and responses for audits related to AR.
  • Create, update and maintain process and program documentation; including corporate policies & procedures related to AR.

 

Minimum Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors in accounting or finance; MBA preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years’ accounts receivable experience in billing/collections at both a transactional & analysis level.
  • A minimum of 5 years of management experience.
  • Medical insurance and Medicaid billing experience.
  • Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills are a must. Strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy are needed in order to meet deadlines. Must have strong planning, analytical and problem-solving skills. Must be a team player with a positive attitude and self-motivation.
  • Computer skills needed: MS Excel (advanced skills such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros, formulas, etc.), MS Word, Enterprise Accounting Software (MS Dynamics Solomon experience is a plus).
  • Ability to work both independently and as a member of the accounting team. Must be able to work effectively with department co-workers as well as with members of other departments. Must be able to interface professionally both inside and outside of the organization.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and Medicaid experience is a plus.
