The Behavioral Health Manager manages and supervises the staff in school and community settings providing Community Based Rehabilitation Services and Targeted Case Management services. They ensure staff are qualified, knowledgeable and trained to provide high-quality mental health services in a variety of community settings, provide management oversight and ensure quality of service and compliance of State, Federal and/or contractual requirements.

Additionally, the Community Behavioral Health Manager is an integral member of the Behavioral Health Team and collaborates, communicates and coordinates with other department team members and company leaders to maximize support to the children, families and adults served by the organization.


  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in a human service related field
  • Minimum of two (2) years experience managing & supervising employees
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in providing direct services to children and adults with a mental health diagnosis
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with peers and professional contacts
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and interdependently
  • Workable knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite & Google Platforms
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills including detail orientation


  • Current certification as required by the state of Idaho
  • Current First Aid/CPR Certification
  • Current MANDT Certification (all three levels)
  • CANS certification
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish


  • Maintains professional relations with providers, school districts, funders, families, and employees
  • Oversight and management of the provision of direct services
  • Collaborates with leadership regarding various budget and financial issues
  • Coordinates & assists in the development and upkeep of RISE Services within the Behavioral Health Department
  • Provides direct service to clients and families as needed
  • Collaborate with Clinical Professionals and other treatment providers as needed
  • Completes other duties as needed &/or assigned    


  • Participates in hiring and on-boarding process for new employees
  • Manage client caseloads & assignments
  • Supervise & manage daily and yearly personnel requirements
  • Facilitate and attend team meetings
  • Collaborate with BH Director and BH Clinical Director concerning programmatic & personnel concerns & issues


  • Responsible for ensuring best practices are established and maintained
  • Ensure professional and ethical guidelines are being adhered to
  • Reconcile employee documentation for accuracy and timeliness
  • Oversee employee billing and authorization requests
  • Oversees compliance of services to funding bodies
