Another Day LLC. is a local company with more than 20 years of experience providing services to individuals who choose to self-direct their care through Kansas Medicaid. While the Kansas Self-Directed Services program has changed over time, Another Day has been consistent in providing exceptional service and support to our clients.

 

OVERVIEW AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Responsible for communicating with KS ADI Consumers/Guardians/DSWs by email, and phone. Making entries in web-based system to document visits and services provided. In addition the Support Specialist will be responsible for processing clients in-home care attendant services records, providing customer support to our clients, and ensure accurate insurance claims processing.

  • Review and process client service records daily.
  • Receive service records requests from clients and make appropriate adjustments to service records.
  • Contact clients to request information to complete service records.
  • Review claims records against insurance billing requirements and make adjustments to claim records to ensure compliance with requirements.
  • Interact with internal departments and staff to identify and resolve issues related to client service records.
  • Enter time adjustment information into AuthentiCare after receiving confirmation from Consumer/Guardian.
  • Contact Consumer or Guardian to get necessary information to complete entries into AuthentiCare system.
  • Remediate discrepancies between entries in AuthentiCare and adjustment documentation provided by Consumer/Guardian.
  • Review exception report for prior day and initiate missing information follow-up.
  • Present positive customer service.
  • Actively participate in, and contribute to, short and long-range planning for company programs and services.
  • Exercise sound judgment in determining which decisions and/or actions require an immediate response and which ones might best be deferred until the COO is available.
  • May be asked to perform other non-essential duties as directed by the COO or other Officers.
  • ALL Another Day employees will be vigilant to support the positive compliant cybersecurity company posture by familiarizing themselves with all policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines and act accordingly.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2 years experience in data entry
  • 2 years experience medical transcription
  • 2 years experience customer service
  • Proficient with computing software, including Microsoft Excel
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and requests
