OVERVIEW AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

The Business Analytics Intern will support operational reporting and process improvement initiatives within the billing and revenue cycle team. This role is ideal for a graduate student passionate about data, technology, and continuous improvement. The Business Analytics Intern will work closely with the Sr. RCM Analyst and cross-functional teams to build dashboards, analyze business processes, and drive efficiencies using modern tools.

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to visualize key business metrics
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement
• Assist with mapping and redesigning core processes in billing and revenue cycle operations
• Document reporting requirements, data sources, and workflows in collaboration with internal stakeholders
• Support ad hoc data analysis and reporting needs across other business functions
• Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Current graduate student in Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field
• Strong interest in healthcare operations, data analytics, or process improvement
• Familiarity with Power BI or similar BI tools is preferred (training available)
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
• Detail-oriented with a proactive and collaborative approach
