THE POSITION
The Idaho Business Analyst (BA) will work closely with teams, data, and software to gather company data. Additionally, the BA will be able utilize project management experience to take charge of a project and deliver results that will make the organization more profitable. The BA has the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, using strong communication and customer service skills, and will be able translate business data into digestible information that improves corporate processes. The BA will work with a variety of systems and platforms such as DCI and other operational systems utilized for timekeeping and attendance, authorization management, billing, scheduling, training and compliance, care management, etc. The BA will also be responsible for compiling and analyzing data into reports that stakeholders and departmental managers can utilize and understand.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Identify business trends utilizing real data, compile analysis reports to be utilized across programs, follow-up on all results and present necessary information as needed
- Ability to understand and analyze financial data
- Create a comprehensive management plan for each project and hold regular stakeholder meetings to keep all interested parties updated in project progress
- Determine and document user requirements for business processes and abide by those requirements for future projects
- Recommend controls by identifying problems and writing improved procedures
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports
- Utilize Project Management and Authorization Management as necessary
- Responsible for preparing and presenting key data for the leadership team to review and understand company standings
- Prepare and maintain budgets, in collaboration with others, as required
- Actively participate in operational and budget meetings to review trends and share updated key data
- Obtain familiarity with software, acting as a Super User of systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Business or Accounting
- 3+ years of associated work experience
- Practical application ability with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Detailed analytical abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage a variety of assignments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience pulling data and creating reports
- Ability to understand and analyze financial data
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with the following technologies: Zendesk, DCI, Paycom, and a variety of Care Management Systems
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
