THE POSITION

The Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) is responsible for conducting indirect and direct assessment of participants behaviors to assist in developing ABA treatment plans and Functional Behavior Assessments. The BCBA is responsible for providing consultation and training to others in the use of behavioral intervention strategies. The BCBA is also responsible for the implementation of treatment plans developed and providing BCBA supervision.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Perform assessments and write treatment plans for clients with a variety of diagnoses, primarily autism
  • Provide direct ABA during 1:1 sessions with clients
  • Ability to independently run a caseload of 10 - 20
  • Provide supervision and oversight of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
  • Provide weekly or monthly parent trainings to families as needed or requested
  • Maintain and monitor ongoing daily data collection
  • Complete and evaluate programming and graphs updated within 2-4 weeks
  • Attends monthly BCBA and RBT team meetings
  • Attends monthly case overview meetings with Program Director
  • Must be willing and able to travel to other area locations where services are provided
  • Evening availability

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Special Education or Applied Behavioral Analysis preferred
  • Must hold a current BCBA certification with a BACB and remain in good standing
  • One year full-time direct applied experience working with individuals with challenging behaviors, or applied behavior analysis experience preferred
  • Must be willing to work on a team with support fromthe Behavioral Health Team
  • Must be professional, self-motivated and energetic
  • Must provide or obtain CPR/First Aid Certification (provided by RISE)
  • Have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license and car insurance
  • Must be able to pass a background check
