RISE, Inc., a 35+ year old growth oriented non-profit multi-state organization with annual revenues of $100million+ serving the developmentally disabled community, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Supervisor. The Accounts Receivable Supervisor provides organized and detail oriented professional services for high volume, multi-state receivable and collection efforts within the Finance division. This person is responsible to perform the below functions for OMG/Rise, Inc., as well as companies that are contracted with OMG/Rise, Inc.
This position will work in our corporate office, which is conveniently located at Greenfield Rd. & US 60 in Mesa, AZ. In addition, the candidate will also have the flexibility and option to take advantage of our hybrid work-from-home/office schedule. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and detailed oriented with strong organizational, prioritization, communication and interpersonal skills.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Organize and supervise the processing of multi-state receivables and collections related to medical insurance and Medicaid billings; this includes EDI billing.
Ensure accurate processing of data by monitoring assigned AR team’s aging and billing reports.
Identify trends in billing and payment issues; communicate issues in a timely manner to supervisor.
Provide timely write-offs and revenue adjustments for assigned funding sources.
Lead the assigned AR team in developing proactive processes for effective and efficient resolution for claims processing and collections.
Assist in identifying key performance indicators for AR and ensure accurate tracking of these indicators.
Communicate with internal and external representatives to facilitate billing issue resolution and build strong working relationships.
Prepare for and attend meetings with Executives, managers, internal departments, and external customers.
Create, update and maintain process and program documentation for policies and procedures.
Assist with hiring and training new employees; provide training to employees on new program start-ups.
Manage and provide leadership to staff thru coaching, counseling, timely feedback, disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and performance assessment.
Perform other job-related duties as directed by supervisor.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A degree in accounting or related field (or equivalent experience).
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounts receivable in billing/collections at both a transactional and analysis level.
A minimum of 3 years' of management experience.
Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills are a must.
Strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy are needed in order to meet deadlines.
Computer skills needed: MS Excel (advanced skills such as Vlookups pivot tables and macros are preferred), MS Word, Enterprise Accounting Software (MS Dynamics Solomon experience is a plus).
Ability to work both independently and as a member of the accounting team.
- Must be able to work effectively with department co-workers as well as with members of other departments. Must be able to interface professionally both inside and outside of the organization.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
Communicate effectively in individual or group situations including demonstrating active listening skills.
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, using accurate grammatical form, and able to read and interpret written information.
Ability to coach and develop team members.
Ability to effectively interact with customer base and maintain excellent customer relations.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
